Big Bang

Notably Belize’s hottest rapper, Big Bang has recently earned much attention from the masses worldwide with his two back to back hits Cocaine and Classy. With a style that takes listeners into a mannerism of the late Biggie smalls or Rick Ross with that boss behavior , Big Bang is carrying Belize on his back and doing it in fine style. Having the opportunity to speak briefly with the rapper, his sites are set on taking a big part of the pie worldwide.  Winning the award for best music video of the year at this year’s Belize International Film Festival for Classy definitely added to his accolades. This artist definitely has a Big future ahead of him. For more info on him visit

International Museum Day

Belize Celebrates International Museum Day on May 18

The Museum of Belize and Houses of Culture, and the National Institute of Culture and History (NICH), join the worldwide community of museums in celebrating International Museum Day on and around 18 May, 2015. The International Council of Museums (ICOM) established International Museum Day in 1977 to increase public awareness of the role of museums in the development of society. The theme Museums for a Sustainable Society recognizes the role of museums in raising public awareness about the need for a society that is less wasteful, more cooperative and that uses resources in a way that respects living systems. The Museum of Belize, along with the Houses of Culture, will commemorate this day with a number of educational activities, which targets students and the general public.   Join us at the Museum of Belize or the Houses of Culture in your area for an exciting glimpse into the world of museums. The Media is especially invited to join us at the Museum of Belize on Monday and Tuesday as we do activities with pre-school and primary school children and on Wednesday for an exhibit at the Bliss. See calendar of activities attach!
